BLACKMAN TWP., MI — A national steakhouse chain, planning to move into the former Ground Round restaurant building, had its Class C Liquor License approved at the Monday, Aug. 12 Blackman Township meeting. Texas Roadhouse, based in Louisville, Ky., is also seeking a specially designated merchant license to serve beer and wine, as well as an outdoor service and Sunday sales permit. A class C license allows a person to sell beer, wine, mixed drinks and spirits at retail to consumers for consumption on the licensed premises only, according to Michigan Liquor Control Commission’s website.
Texas Roadhouse is looking to open a new restaurant at the former location of Ground Round, which closed in 2013.
